• They’re called Prospect Lane because the early idea for the band happened at the Sharmans Cross pub, on ..you guessed it, Prospect Lane
• They have been produced by Gavin Monaghan (of Kings of Leon, Editors and The Twang knob-twiddling fame)
• Their song features on the Killers rockumentary ’Leaving Las Vegas’
• They’ve supported  The View, Ghosts, Boxer Rebellion and Silversun Pickups

We are very excited to have The Musgraves (Myspace) at The Flapper on Friday night – this is going to be something of a party …

It’s Lesley from the bands birthday – so there will be celebrations a plenty we can imagine!

On top of that, they are fun-fuelled outfit at the best of times with a 60’s/pop/folk combination which works a treat!

The Mama Matrix show is getting ever closer … Wednesday, in fact!

A perfect example of the Balkan gypsy punk that is oh-so-popular right now, this is promising to be a very anarchic, chaotic and Balkanic (is that a word?) show. If you’ve not experienced them before, then all we can say is - head to their Myspace. and have a look at the video below.

Think gypsy punk, world music with a sense of humour … brilliantly fun!

Mama Matrix were asked to support The Beat at the Academy back in March, so it’s a real thrill to have them at the Hare and Hounds
