Birmingham Promoters in association with Kilimanjaro presents:
Pulled Apart By Horses
Monday 20 February @ HMV Institute, Birmingham
Pulled Apart By Horses are a 4 piece post-hardcore band from Leeds, England. The band quickly grabbed attention from the likes of Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and Steve Lamacq, NME, Artrocker and the inquisitive minds of some of Britain’s most recognizable indie labels, before singing to Transgressive Records to release their self-titled debut album, which received high praise from all corners of the music press. Pulled Apart By Horses endless touring schedule, with the likes of Future of The Left and Biffy Clyro, and their infamous chaotic live performances led The Observer Music Monthly to call them ‘Surely the best live band in Britain’ and were personally asked by Muse to support them on their 2011 stadium tour. Now with the news of a new release on the horizon and back to the smaller sweaty venues where they thrive, we welcome the return of Pulled Apart By Horses for what is sure to be an unmissable show!
"Are these guys the future of British hardcore music in the UK? If they aren’t they bloody well should be." - Drowned in Sound
“This debut album features chaotic, clattering punk, where storming punk riffs lead to abrupt metallic turns, before some shouting ushers in further great riffs” - Kerrang! KKKK
